About the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) was envisioned to lead the extension of Santa Clara University’s 155 year-old mission of “educating the whole person for a life of service and leadership” into the study and practice of innovation and entrepreneurship. 

The Center's mission takes shape in three critical areas:





By fostering an environment where innovation and entrepreneurship flourish, Santa Clara produces graduates with a greater understanding and control of the forces that drive the Silicon Valley, national and global economies.
