Internship Opportunities
Product Designer:
- Own and complete one user-facing product/service
Software Engineer:
- Own and complete one user-facing product/service, OR
- Address scale/performance/reliability infrastructure issues
Engineering Project Manager:
- Work with US and offshore teams in processes in place to iterate rapidly on site rollouts.
Marketing & PR Contact:
- Own and complete several media and consumer outreach campaigns
Desired Skills/Knowledge
Product Designer: strong UX (not just UI) skills, ability to translate a product concept into visual and interaction design, good graphic design skills, experience working with technical team to implement. Details-oriented.
Software Engineer: PHP/CodeIgniter, Javascript/jQuery, Java/Tomcat. Star coder. Strong architecture experience coupled with a good sense of value/cost engineering trade-offs. Details-oriented.
Engineering Project Manager: Has successfully managed web teams to deliver projects. Strong engineering foundation; preferably CS background. Details-oriented.
Marketing & PR: Social Media expertise (at minimum as a frequent user of Twitter, Facebook, preferably with experience in group communication and influence. Details-oriented.
Position Description
- Full-time employment opportunity (Paid)
- 20-40 hours/week
- At least 3 months per engagement, preferably 6-12 months
- Graduate students preferred
