NameCoach Seeks creative, entrepreneurial marketing manager/business development intern to help launch an email & internet marketing/sales campaign.  This is an opportunity to gain extensive and increasingly valuable online marketing and sales experience, business development experience, and take on responsibilities and titles unique to the ground-floor of a Silicon Valley startup.

NameCoach is a new startup led by a small team of Stanford students.  Its vision is unique: solve a single, niche problem, and expand fully into all relevant markets.  NameCoach allows individuals to voice-record their names online so announcers and players in a variety of important settings (graduation ceremonies, wedding receptions, sports announcements, radio announcements, diplomatic settings, conferences, etc.) know how to pronounce the name correctly.  After two development phases, NameCoach is currently in the initial product launch.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The marketing manager/business development intern will plan, coordinate, and execute an email, telephone, and online marketing/sales campaign to promote the service.  The focus will largely be on high schools and universities, for the spring/summer graduation season.   Specific tasks will be determined in collaboration with the co-founders, but there is much flexibility to take initiative and develop your own marketing/sales/development vision. This internship will be especially rewarding to those with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoy taking initiative and increasing responsibilty.  Possibility of taking on an equity-holding business development manager role based on performance.
-  10-20 hours/week
- Majority of work can be done remotely, but some in-person meetings required

  Minumum:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative thinker
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to take initiative
- Demonstrated passion for conceiving and executing projects
- Desire to work in fast-paced, agile start-up environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with Excel

Preferred:
- Experience with internet and email marketing campaigns
- General sales/marketing experience
- Basic HTML knowledge (for HTML emails)
- Some familiarity with Rails applications/web design

This position is a part-time, unpaid internship working approxmately 10-20 hours a week for 5 weeks.  Undergraduate or Graduate students are welcome to apply.
