The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups. A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.
In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups. This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E Internship in Entrepreneurship. Engineering Project Manager:
Marketing & PR Contact:
Product Designer: strong UX (not just UI) skills, ability to translate a product concept into visual and interaction design, good graphic design skills, experience working with technical team to implement. Details-oriented.
Engineering Project Manager: Has successfully managed web teams to deliver projects. Strong engineering foundation; preferably CS background. Details-oriented.
Marketing & PR: Social Media expertise (at minimum as a frequent user of Twitter, Facebook, preferably with experience in group communication and influence. Details-oriented.
We seek and filter strongly for all 3 components: Intelligence, Energy, and Integrity. And we prefer finishers over starters.
