Undergraduate Internships

The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups.  A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.

In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups.  This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters.  Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E  Internship in Entrepreneurship.  For more information, please contact

Seeking See Jane Run Race Development and Coordinator


  • Help us develop new races in key markets
  • Research, explore and develop new opportunities


  • Sponsor identification and negotiations (optional)
  • Identify/manage in-kind donations
  • Confirm and obtain signed contracts for all sponsors
  • Manage sponsor products and awards
  • Manage race day communications and logistics


  • Manage calendar listings
  • Marketing and PR with focus on social media (optional).


  • Create the agenda for event production for SJR, including: event logistics, venues, talent, sponsors, and coordination efforts for all events.
  • Manage and monitor event timeline and budget
  • Identify and manage all pre and post race expos
  • Manage race directors for all races
  • Scheduling and manage communication with talent, vendors, and outside contractors.
  • Confirm and manage AV requirements
  • Work with race directors to ensure all data on the website is completed and update as necessary
  • Manage communications to participants
  • Confirm and manage race gear and equipment


  • Finalize and manage look and feel of each event
  • Manage all aspects of each expo
  • Create detailed expo agenda for vendors, staff, and volunteers
  • On site, race day management of expo area

Post Race

  • Manage all payments to vendors/contractors
  • Complete expenditures to match budget
  • Write thank-yous and send gift (if any) where appropriate
  • Hold post-event meeting to survey and evaluate
  • Inventory all materials

Must be organized and extremely proficient in Microsoft excel.

Position Description

  • Part-time internship (unpaid)
  • 20 hours/week
  • Graduate students preferred
