
Position: Administrative and Service Coordinator Intern
The Administrative and Service Coordinator will lead and manage the administrative functions
and duties of A.G.E.S. Learning Solutions, Inc. and will be responsible for coordinating insurance
and client billing for all direct services rendered by the company. This person will report directly
to the Chief Executive Officer, and will serve as her administrative assistant. The person in this
position will serve as the preliminary point-of-contact for members of the community, and will be
responsible for scheduling behavior assessments and treatment sessions for clients.
Additional job duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as Office Manager;
• Schedule and screen appointments, visitors, e-mail, and calls for administrators and
consultants;
• Assist the administrators in preparation of presentations, reports, and respond to client,
contract, and community inquiries;
• Maintain knowledge of insurance laws and regulations impacting persons with
disabilities/autism;
• Maintain outstanding interpersonal skills while serving as the agency’s receptionist;
• Maintain agency equipment and supplies;
• Maintain, organize, and coordinate the retention of client records and documents;
• Assist the administrators in facilitating functions and events, and other special projects as
required.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree and two years of office administration or business management experience;
or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e., Business Management, Accounting) or
completing a degree;
• Knowledge of and/or experience in autism education/intervention, diagnosis, and training;
• Knowledge of and/or experience in medical/therapeutic services and insurance billing
related to autism;
• Knowledge of State of California rules and regulations related to autism and/or disabilities
services and education;
• Strong organizational skills and experience with scheduling;
• Strong presentation and public relations skills.
Hours and Compensation
• Approximately 20 hours per week
• $10 - $15 per hour
