The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups. A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.
In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups. This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E Internship in Entrepreneurship. Gordon Biersch Seeks Marketing Intern (Paid Opportunity with Potential for Summer Position)
Gordon Biersch Brewing Company seeks a marketing intern for an ideal opportunity to participate in a complete packaging and image redesign for Gordon Biersch bottled beers. This position involves working with graphic artists during the design phase as well as putting together focus group feedback on the concepts. Additional duties include integrating, updating and managing the social media platforms. This is a paid internship with the potential to continue on for a summer position. The time commitment is 8 hours per week at the brewery and 4 hours per week remote.
Seeking undergraduate Junior Marketing major with some course study in web design, social media, and graphics. Use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoship ideal. Proficient in MS Office.
Start date: January, 2013
