The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups. A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.
In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups. This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E Internship in Entrepreneurship. Online musical service seeking multiple interns
Project: Expanding startup online musical service/community.
This project advances an existing online service/community for promoting live music. It also seeks to redefine all aspects of today’s live music scene through the use of Web-enabling and social media tools. Strong focus is on the synergy and interaction and monetization of fans, venues and musicians. The current focal point is the Bay Area but can be easily scaled to other geographical areas.
This innovative startup opportunity seeks the right candidate(s) to take the venture to the next level. Interns will have the opportunity to be part of the dynamic music industry establishing a service that networks all aspects of live music. Areas of focus: evaluate business plans; analyze revenue streams, create financials (pro forma) for potential investors.
Desired skills and qualities needed:
This person(s) will work collaboratively with the founder of the site to develop and implement business and marketing strategies.
