MBA Entrepreneurs' Connection Prepares to Host the 2009 VCIC Silicon Valley Regional
With their Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) team selected and in training, members of the MBA Entrepreneurs’ Connection (EC) are now gearing up to host the Silicon Valley regional on February 13 at SCU. VCIC is the nation’s premier strategy competition for venture-minded and entrepreneurial MBA students and a wonderful opportunity to showcase Santa Clara’s entrepreneurial talent and leadership─and you can help make it a success.
In addition to two more mentors for SCU’s VCIC team, the EC seeks entrepreneurs, judges and sponsors for the event, which turns the tables by placing participating teams in the roles of investors to review pitches presented by real entrepreneurs. Teams from Brigham Young University, University of San Francisco, UC-Irvine, USC and University of Washington will be in attendance, with the winner selected to join seven other semifinalist teams at the VCIC international finals in April.
If you’d like to lend your expertise to the planning process, participate on game day or join the EC for other events throughout the academic year, please contact the club’s leadership at EC-Officers@yahoogroups.com.
