With fewer financial rewards to offer, companies are struggling with how to achieve full engagement of their employees. Engaged employees are much more likely to remain longer with the company, innovate and strive for higher levels of performance and contribution, thereby impacting productivity, customer service, customer loyalty and profitability. Now more than ever, we need all employees to give their best effort and deliver superior results.

This program will equip managers with the necessary understanding of aspects within their sphere of influence that can positively impact employee engagement. This will ensure both short term and long term success of the company by retaining the best talent and getting their best contribution. The program will emphasize the role managers can play in building employee commitment and motivation so that employees want to give to the job what is called discretionary effort - to go that extra mile. Practical action steps are provided to help managers apply the knowledge immediately on-the-job.

In this program, participants will:

  • Explore what constitutes employee engagement and identify drivers of employee engagement
  • Learn how employee engagement impacts business results
  • Identify the role of managers in ensuring a high level of employee engagement
  • Develop an action plan for managers to maximize employee engagement

Who should attend?

The program is for managers charged with doing more with less in a challenging economic situation - managers concerned with employee engagement in an environment with limited financial levers to reward and recognize employees.
