Leadership Agility is the master competency needed for sustained success in today's complex, fast-paced business environment. In this seminar, author and world-renowned consultant, Stephen A. Josephs, will explore how leaders can go from being experts and achievers to catalysts, co-creators, and synergist - the kings of leaders that new research has identified as most effective in today's fast-paced climate, Josephs will provide a practical guide for identifying where you are as a leader and how to develop to the next stage.

Far too few leaders have mastered the level of agility needed for consistent effectiveness in our turbulent era of global competition. Through Josephs' engaging insights and rich stories based on original research and decades of work with clients, you will:

  • explore the five levels that leaders move through in developing their leadership agility
  • learn how to identify your current level of agility
  • learn how you as a manager and leader can bring greater agility to the initiatives and situations you are involved in every day

Stephen A. Josephs is a world-renowned consultant and executive coach whose clients include IBM, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Aetna, Corning, Dell, Sunoco, and Travelers. In his leadership development work, he and his colleagues strive for two benefits for those with whom they work: (1) to make a difference as leaders, and (2) to enjoy who they become in the process. Stephen's 25-year executive coaching practice has grown through decades of training and research that began in the 1970s, when he founded the Massachusetts Institute of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Stephen used this approach to "model" exemplary leaders, identifying the unconscious thought processes that allowed them to outperform others by significant margins. He then went on to create performance models for business communication, with applications in the areas of leadership, management, team-building, sales, and customer service. He has a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts and masters degrees from Harvard and Antioch Universities.

What they're saying about his book:
"As executives operating in an often chaotic business environment, we know instinctively that our company's ability to zig and zag is critical. Leadership Agility takes that instinctive understanding and defines it, measures it, and shows us how to develop it in ourselves and others. This is a timely, thought-provoking, and very important book on leadership." - Betsy Bernard, former president, AT&T

"Leadership Agility gave me the inspiration I needed to respond creatively and decisively to several of my current leadership dilemmas. Many readers are bound to be similarly inspired. The clear, specific guidance it provides makes it a "playbook" that managers and leaders will read closely and return to again and again." - Bill Torbert, professor, the Boston College Carroll School of Management; author, Action Inquiry: The secret of timely and transforming leadership
