Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency (Academic Year Version)Date: September 15, 2007 - May 17, 2008
The Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency (CAAP) provides the knowledge and understanding of principles of accounting in an intense, eight months course. The program fosters an intimate learning environment with high-quality faculty, and grants the necessary accounting units to sit for the CPA exam. Program Format and Details Admission requirements include a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or its foreign equivalent. Students should anticipate eight to twelve hours a week of out-of-class study. Students attend class on Saturdays. Class sessions start at 9:00 AM and end at 6:00 PM (unless otherwise noted). Priority consideration will be given to students who enroll in the entire program (Actg. 181-186), and those who successfully complete the program (with a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 and a passing grade in each class) will earn a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University.* *Individuals who can demonstrate the need for specific accounting classes will be accommodated on a space available basis. Faculty Tuition and Fees Payment and Refund Policy If you withdraw prior to the first day of your first course, you will receive a 100% refund. If you withdraw after the beginning of your first course, you will receive 50% refund for the courses not yet begun. Apply for this Program!
