About the W. M. Keck Foundation Chair
The W.M. Keck Foundation provided a grant for an endowed chair in the Leavey School of Business in 1981, to support distinguished faculty whose scholarship makes innovative contributions to knowledge and who excels in teaching.
A philanthropic organization, the Keck Foundation was established in the mid-1950s by the founder of Superior Oil Company, William Myron Keck. The Foundation's support for education is focused on inventive approaches to instruction and the effective involvement of undergraduates in research.
