  •  BTGAP- Bridging the Gap, Alleviating Poverty

    BTGAP is SCU's newest club that aims to educate the student body about widespread domestic and international poverty, hunger, and environmental issues. It is a club dedicated to educating undergraduate students about issues relating to poverty, specifically with relation to the environment, food, agriculture, and education. We will focus on both domestic and international issues and empower students to make any changes they can.     BTGAP will be tabling outside Benson the first week of spring quarter, to keep on the look out!

  •  The Business of Gourmet Markets

    The Food and Agribusiness Institute will be hosting "The Business of Gourmet Markets" on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013; Draeger's Market will be featured. The local market has four locations in the area and is known for everything from European pastries to wine to cooking classes, all atop of being a succesful grocery store. You won't want to miss out, as a representative from Graeger's Market will be speaking about what it takes to run a business in the world of gourmet markets. We hope to see you there!

    When: Tuesday, April 30th, 2013

    Time: 5:00pm-7:00pm

    Where: Lucas Hall, Rm. 126

    There will be free appetizers for those who come!
