Food and Agribusiness Concentration

The Food & Agribusiness Institute offers a concentration within the MBA program that prepares students for management positions in the food and agricultural industries. Additionally, students are encouraged to enhance their coursework with any of the enrichment programs offered by the Institute.

The concentration in Food & Agribusiness consists of two required and two elective courses, described below.

For this concentration, complete:

FNCE 474 Risk Management with Derivative Securities
MGMT 540 Social Political, and Legal Environment of Food and Agribusiness Firms

In addition, you must complete two of the following courses:

  • ACTG 698, ECON 698, FNCE 698, MKTG 698, or OMIS 698 Independent Study (Course must be on a topic approved by the Director of the Food and Agribusiness Institute)
