Michaela Lewin

GIS Assistant
Michaela is a senior at Santa Clara University and is pursing a double major in Marketing and Spanish with a minor in Enviornmental Studies. She works as a GIS Student Research Assistant at the Food and Agribusiness Institute working with Dr. Baker and Dr. Bacon from the Environmental Studies department, conducting research on food risk and vulnerability in Santa Clara County through spatial analysis.

 

Michaela grew up in San Luis Obispo, California. She has a passion for traveling and spent a gap year in Argentina and a semester in Chile. She is very interested in environmental justice issues, sparking her interest in the research that FAI does revolving around equal access to food. She is very excited to be a part of such an inspiring and active institute and community.
