  • Current research interests include consumer attitudes toward food safety risks and  the relationship between strategic management and firm financial performance.
  • Current teaching interests include strategic management, business environment, and environmental economics
  • Chaired the Western Regional Coordinating Committee-72, a group of approximately 50 of the nation's leading agribusiness researchers
  • Coordinate a four-week program for agribusiness executives and managers from developing countries, teaching financial, marketing and production management
  • International experience includes work as the site coordinator and farming systems economist for a USAID project in Brazil and member of a team to establish the first MBA program in Uruguay
