Monica Argenti

Food and Agribusiness Specialization Student

Monica earned a BA in International Relations and Spanish from UC San Diego in 2007. After earning her degree, Monica worked in Washington, D.C. with Amnesty International’s human rights campaigns. After returning to her native Northern California, Monica concentrated her work on developing youth and community programs through the local government and transitioned into education in late 2008 when she moved to Bogotá, Colombia to volunteer for a year. Monica is now the Principal at an elementary and middle school in the Silicon Valley. As a native Sonoma County-an, Monica has grown up around the agricultural industry. When she finishes her MBA, she looks forward to taking all her experience in the food and agribusiness program back home to wine country!
