Meet the Staff

AnaKarina White, Director

AnaKarina has provided the GBP students and alumni with career coaching and counseling for the past five years.  She has created new programs and events, such as the GBP Career Fair and Managing your Career Workshop, to help meet the career needs of the students and alumni.  She works closely with the GBP Networks to help structure extracurricular event programming to enhance academic and professional development for all students.  She encourages all students and alumni to actively engage in building their networks, starting with the SCU community.

AnaKarina graduated from Santa  Clara University in 1998 with a B.S. in Psychology and in 2005 with an M.A. in Counseling.  She has 10 years of professional work experience, including three years in Accounting and three years in University Relations at Seagate Technology. 

Sonia Gonzalez, Assistant Director, Events & Operations

Sonia is dedicated to assisting students and alumni along their career paths. Sonia's goal is to get students engaged with one another, outside of the classroom and to broaden their connections to students in other SCU graduate programs. She is the advisor to the GBP Networks and works closely with them in their event programming.  She also serves as the planner for GBP events such as the Career Fair, End of Quarter Parties, Leavey Lectures, Orientation, and the Graduation Reception.

Sonia graduated from Santa Clara University in 2000 with a B.S. in Sociology and joined the GBP team in March 2006. With diverse work experience in non-profit, higher education, and corporate sectors, she understands that one's career can take many roads.

Victoria Wilson, Assistant Director, Career Coaching & Counseling

Victoria joins GBP Career Management with six years of marketing and sales experience in the technology industry. She is particularly familiar with the networking, semiconductor, and enterprise software sectors. In addition, she has experience providing career coaching to mid-level managers in a variety of industries.

Victoria is a graduate of the M.A. in Counseling Psychology program at Santa Clara University.  Her emphasis was in Career Development.  She also has an M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in International Relations, Japanese, and East Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
