Internships for Graduate Business Students

Internships will help you:

  • Increase your skill level in a particular job function
  • Build a more diverse professional network
  • Strengthen your resume with relevant experience
  • "Test drive" a particular career path
  • May lead you to a full-time opportunity

Internships are ideal for any graduate business full-time or international student. Part-time students who want to make career changes after graduation are strongly encouraged to consider gaining experience in those fields through internships.

Graduate Business Programs Career Management (GBP CM) receives internship postings throughout the academic year (September through June) directly from Bay Area employers. Most internships are typically held in the summer for a three-month period. However, many employers do extend the length of the internships, depending on the qualities that the individual intern brings to the table.
