Students who complete the Managing Technology and Innovation Concentration are eligible to have the Concentration noted on their transcripts (please see the Bulletin for the list of requirements). Take advantage of this focused set of courses to deepen your overall understanding of: the innovation context, organizing for innovation (both large firm issues and start-ups), the process of innovation (team and project management), and systems design. These courses will better prepare you to engage with the Santa Clara University technology and innovation community. "Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Cisco have invited Santa Clara University to submit two (2) business plans for the DFJ-CISCO Global Business Plan Competition to be held on June 29, 2010 for a winner-take-all investment of at least US$250,000 in seed stage funding! This is a tremendous opportunity for aspiring student entrepreneurs (undergraduate and/or graduate) to pitch their ideas to a team of leading venture capitalists and corporate investors. The competition will include participants from universities around the globe in regions covered by the DFJ Global Network and Cisco Systems, Inc.
