Equivalency Exams
Students may meet preprogram competencies by taking and passing equivalency exams. Equivalency exams are also offered for the six waivable required courses in the MBA curriculum. Exams are typically administered during the second week of each quarter.
All equivalency exams must be completed before the end of a student's second quarter in the MBA or MSIS program. A student's enrollment deposit must be submitted prior to taking exams, and pre-program competencies must be met in order for students to sit for waivable required course exams. Students are not eligible to take an exam if they are enrolled in or have attended any session of the class that they are attempting to waive.
Each equivalency exam may only be taken once. If students do not pass an exam, they must enroll in the corresponding course.
