Applying for the MBA/MSIS Financial Scholarships and Assistantships

To be considered for a Merit-Based Scholarship, Need-Based Scholarship or Assistantship, you must complete and return the appropriate application to the Graduate Business Programs office in Lucas Hall, Suite 116 before the deadline dates listed for each quarter:

FALL 2010 QUARTER DEADLINE:  June 1, 2010
WINTER 2011 QUARTER DEADLINE:  October 1, 2010
SPRING 2011 QUARTER DEADLINE:  January 19, 2011

Additionally, for those who are applying for Need-Based Scholarship or Assistantship must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The FAFSA preferred filing deadline is outlined on both of these applications.

MBA/MSIS Financial Scholarship and Assistantship applications are available year-around and are updated each academic year with current information.  Applications can be filed for consideration for the Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters - MBA/MSIS funds are not available for the Summer Quarter. Applicants who are matriculating for Winter Quarter and/or Spring Quarter should file their financial award application concurrently with filing their MBA/MSIS Program Admissions application.  The Financial Scholarship and Assistantship application is not evaluated with the Admissions decision and is kept separate from your Admissions application file.  Students need not be admitted to the University before applying for financial aid.  However, no offer of assistance will be made before a student is admitted.  Your MBA Program application is evaluated and considered solely on its own merit and financial awards are not factored into any Admissions decision.
