Petition to Graduate

Congratulations on your approaching graduation! This petition notifies the Graduate Business Programs Office and the Office of the Registrar of your intent to graduate. The information you submit is used to order your diploma and list your name in the SCU commencement book. Graduate Business students are responsible for knowing their graduation requirements. Please refer to the Graduate Business Programs Bulletin that is specific to your year of entry to determine the requirements that must be completed prior to graduation. After this petition is submitted, a review of your academic record will be made and sent to you prior to your final quarter in the program to confirm your progress toward degree completion.

To be eligible to graduate, Graduate Business students must:

complete all required coursework specific to the year in which they began the program;
complete the required number of units specific to the year in which they began the program;
complete the program with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; and
not have any I or N grades listed on their transcript.

Please note: If your diploma mailing address changes after you submit this form, it is your responsibility to notify Molly Hall at m1hall@scu.edu. You will receive your diploma approximately four months after your graduation date.
