Checklist : MBA GraduationCongratulations on your approaching graduation! Since SCU students follow many different timelines in completing their MBA degrees, students must notify the Graduate Business Programs Office of their intent to graduate. In order to earn your degree, you must complete the first two petition processes outlined below by the published deadlines. Capstone Petition Process (required)Capstone (MGMT 619) is one of the final steps in completing SCU’s MBA degree. Since MGMT 619 has unique prerequisites, students must submit an online Capstone Petition in order to enroll. Capstone eligibility will be verified by the GBP Office prior to registration. In order to enroll in Capstone, students must meet ALL of the following requirements:
*Beginning in Winter 2008, IDIS 705 must be completed prior to enrolling in MGMT 619. Beginning in Fall 2008, Capstone Petition deadlines will be as follows: FALL Quarter, petitions will be due July 15 Please note: MGMT 619 and IDIS 705 are not offered during Summer Quarter. Graduation Petition Process (required)In order to graduate, all MBA students must complete and submit an online Petition to Graduate. The information you provide in your petition is used to order and mail your diploma and list your name in the SCU Commencement Book. To be eligible to graduate, Graduate Business students must:
Deadlines to submit a Petition to Graduate are as follows: JUNE graduation: February 15 Concentration Petition Process (optional)In order for a concentration(s) to be listed on your transcript, you must print out a Concentration Petition in Schedulaid and submit it to the GBP Office along with your Petition to Graduate. Instructions for printing Concentration Petitions in Schedulaid are available online and in the GBP Office. |
