GSAC Member BiographiesFaisal MushtaqFaisal Mushtaq was born and raised in Pakistan. Faisal received his BS degree in computer systems engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. After graduation, he worked for a cable and wireless company for a year and a half. Faisal then moved to the U.S.A. and became a full-time student at Purdue University, eventually graduating with a M.S. in 1996. After graduating from Purdue, Faisal moved to Silicon Valley and started working at Cisco Systems. He spent the next 10 years at Cisco Systems developing next generation enterprise switching systems. Faisal left Cisco in 2006 and joined an early stage startup called Wichorus, Inc.as Senior Manager, Software Development. His personal interests include music, traveling, and reading. Faisal served on GSAC part of last year and is again looking forward to representing his fellow students for the coming year. Contact Faisal Mushtaq |
