GSAC Member Biographies

Haithuy Nguyen

Haithuy Nguyen was born in Vietnam and raised in the United States. She received her BS in managerial economics and a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Davis. During this time, she also studied abroad in Spain at the University of Alcalá de Henares.

After graduation, Haithuy interned at the U.S. Department of Commerce for the International Trade Administration. In 2002, she worked as an intervention prevention specialist at the YWCA. Following her interest in the business arena, she then worked as an account manager at NIC Components. In Fall 2005, Haithuy joined the Evening MBA program. Two years later, she became a full-time student and studied abroad at Peking University in China in the Beijing International MBA program (BiMBA) during the summer.

Haithuy served as Marketing Network Executive last year and is looking forward to representing her fellow students as a GSAC member this coming year. Her interests include wakeboarding, volleyball, and traveling.
