The Global Women’s Leadership Network is unique in the arena of women’s leadership development. The Network is focused not only on providing programs to develop international leaders but also on fostering the connections that will enable their success.

  • Brings together women leaders from multiple sectors - business, government, civil society organizations, and academia
  • Provides the education, resources, and networks that enable them build on each others and their own success
  • Teaches global leadership skills, including an ethos of global citizenship and shared accountability for the future of our world Fosters breakthrough thinking as a first step in creating breakthrough results
  • Develops the complementary skills of vision and action planning, to initiate powerful directions for corporations, non-profit institutes, government agencies, and individual entrepreneurs

The Global Women's Leadership Network supports women leaders at the forefront of closing the Global Gender Gap in five critical areas: economic participation, economic opportunity, political empowerment, educational attainment and health and well-being.

We are closely tied into leading Silicon Valley institutions for technology advancement. Our programs offer many ways of exploring the effective use of technology with a profound potential for good. We believe that by engaging women in all aspects of technology, new options and alternatives for action will be created.

As a part of Santa Clara University, we combine the academic, ethical and social justice values of California’s oldest institution of higher education with the entrepreneurial spirit and future focus of the Silicon Valley.
