Anil Srivastava, World Bank -- Anil Srivastava has been involved with use of technology and education since early 1970s. He was the director and head of knowledge engineering and deeply involved with design and implementation of several innovative education and technology projects across the world funded by Unesco, International Development Research Centre, USAID, FAO, UNDP and India's University Grants Commission. Anil later served as the first chief executive of India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). In 1998 he founded AcrossWorld? Communications, Inc. which is a Global Development Learning Network partner of the World Bank Institute. Dr. Barbara Waugh, co-founder, e-Inclusion, HP, Director University Relations -- Barbara is the author of The Soul in the Computer: The Story of a Corporate Revolutionary. A longtime radical activist, she joined Hewlett-Packard 20 years ago, and used her successive positions as company Recruiting Manager, and Personnel Director and Worldwide Change Manager for the renowned HP Labs to transform HP’s corporate culture. Carol Realini, Board of Directors at Global Business School Network – Carol has had an illustrious career in Silicon Valley and the World. She has held positions as Executive Chairman and CEO at Obopay, Board of Directors at Search for Common Ground, Board Member at Global Giving, Board of Directors at Invio Software, Board Member at Anita Borg Institute, President and CEO at Chordiant Software, and VP of Marketing and Sales at Legato Systems. She is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, San Jose State University, and UC Santa Cruz. She is a wife and mother of three, including twins. Dr. Dorothy Okello, Lecturer, Department of Electrical Engineering, Makere University, Uganda -- Dorothy K. Okello is the founding coordinator of the Women of Uganda Network (WOUGHNET). WOUGNET is a non-governmental organization established in May 2000. WOUGNET is promoting the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) by women as tools for sharing information and addressing issues collectively. It aims to improve the lives of Ugandan women by enhancing their capacities and opportunities for exchange, collaboration and information sharing. She is completed her PhD study at the Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP) Laboratory of the McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Francesca Sterling, Francesca has directed marketing and public relations initiatives in numerous Fortune 1000 corporations and not-for-profit organizations. Her clients have ranged from technology companies to the Dalai Lama and worked in the technology, retail, medical, and environmental sectors for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Apple Computer, Genentech, Silicon Graphics, Tibet House, and The Men’s Wearhouse.She has been studying and practicing with Master spiritual teachers and healers in America and India for over 25 years and has founded Sterling Healing, helping clients with business and life issues. Francesca has also completed the Train the Trainer program of Center of Creative Leadership. Heidi Timmins, is the former head of the Women in Business network at Santa Clara University. She is an employee of Cisco. Joan Banich, Cisco Brand Strategy group and Executive Director of G.O.O.D. Driver program -- Joan is IMC Brand Identity Manager of Worldwide Brand Strategy & Identity at Cisco Systems. She was selected to be one of the participants in the inaugural “Women Leaders for the World Program” held at SCU in March 2005, and organized by the Global Women’s Leadership Center. Her project G.O.O.D Driver seeks to make our neighborhoods safer for children through raising our consciousness as drivers. Joy Tang, is the Founder of oneVillage Foundation, a global nonprofit organization using innovative approach to deliver the power of technology and information to people in the developing countries, giving them valuable tools for building better lives. She is active in sustainable education and development, promotion of indigenous culture heritage, creation of ecotourism as social enterprise and designing appropriate information and communication technology (ICT) devices and solutions to facilitate collaboration and learning. Martina W. Frank, is a Consultant in Global Health and International Education. She designed, managed and evaluated a major population/reproductive health leadership program implemented in Asia, Africa and Latin America, with the Institute of International Education (IIE). She also advised the David and Lucile Packard and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations on developing new leadership grant making initiatives in population and global health. She has worked for nearly 15 years in the areas of gender, human rights and women's health, and was a human rights investigator in Turkey, Albania and Macedonia for Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) and Columbia University. Mary Furlong is the President of Mary Furlong & Associates. She is on the faculty as well as the Advisory Board of the GWLN. She is a world-renowned authority on the baby boomer generation and trends in aging and technology. She currently holds advisory board seats on several companies and the New Zealand Investment board. She holds an appointment as an executive professor of Entrepreneurship and Women in Leadership at the SCU Leavey School of Business. Nancy Hafkin is a member of the GWLN Board of Advisors. She worked for almost twenty-five years for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. She has a long history of work on both gender and information technology for development issues. She has contributed to many publications, the first of which was Women in Africa: Studies in Social and Economic Change. Now retired from the United Nations, Nancy works as a consultant on gender and information technology issues in developing countries. Narendra Rana,Narendra’s global experience covers 30 countries and virtually all industrial sectors as well as social ventures. As the founder of Amitayus Leadership Development, he has focused on advisory, cross functional, external, and cultural boundary collaboration. Mentored clients include CEOs, Chairman, and Founders of business and social ventures. He has designed Leadership and Executive Coaching programs.Narendra’s board and advisory positions included the United Nations Resource Center, the International Diplomacy Council, and Asia Evolution, an Asian investment banking company. He was a key member in the launch of the Global Philanthropy Forum Peg (Margaret) Snyder is a member of the GWLN Board of Advisors. She was the Founding Director of UNIFEM (The United Nations Fund for Women) and a member of the Committee to Organize Women’s World Banking. She worked 15 years in Africa, including co-founding the center for women at the UN's Economic Commission for Africa. Since retiring, Peg has been a fellow in International Studies at Princeton University and a Fulbright Scholar in Uganda. Among her writings are 3 books on the history of the global and African women’s movements and on women entrepreneurs and peacemakers. Robin Selden, VP of Worldwide Marketing, Logitech – Since 1998 Robin Selden has led the marketing efforts of this rapidly growing PC device company. She has been recognized as being a Chief Marketing Officer with a vision for the home office environment. Sherri Lassila, a professional coach, group facilitator, and workshop leader, specializing in transformational leadership and unleashing creative potential in individuals and groups. In her 15 years of leadership development experience, she has worked with leaders of Fortune 500 companies, smaller businesses, and organizations in the education and non-profit sectors, in both the USA and China. She is a resident of Hong Kong. Having facilitated professional women’s coaching groups with hundreds of women for the past seven years, she developed a unique insight into the challenges women face on their leadership journey and the remarkable advances they can make by supporting and standing for each other. Sherri holds an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University, and has been through the certification and leadership programs at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
