Join Professor Kumar Sarangee and the Consulting Club for a case interview workshop. The evening will be spent tackling interview questions focused around strategy in marketing, finance and management that will prepare you for questions that you will no doubt face in your careers as MBAs.


The case format is a popular tool for all firms in all industries today to test business acumen. Learning how to ace the case is a skill that MUST BE PRACTICED. There is no winging it!

Reflecting on the personalities encountered throughout his career, Bay Area Executive, Barry Shiller will discuss the importance of learning how to work with challenging people and how this has been critical to his years of success in business.

Barry Shiller has been a business and technology leader across a broad range of high tech companies over his thirty-five year career.  In positions spanning from director to vice president with companies such as Fairchild Semiconductor, Precision Monolithics, Altera Semiconductor and Elantec Semiconductor, Barry received a MBA from San Francisco State University.  Now enjoying retirement, Barry continues to support the business community as a counselor with Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) and as a lecturer at San Francisco State’s School of Engineering.
