Meet The Board!

  • JadenJiaqi Zhao (Jaden), President

    Jaden is in her second year of MSIS program at Santa Clara University. Prior to relocating to the Bay area in August 2012, she finished her undergraduate in University of Wisconsin Madison, majoring in Economics. With a strong business background, Jaden came to Silicon Valley and joined MSIS program, looking forward to gain technical background and broaden her professional career with the knowledge learned in MSIS program. Coming from business background, Jaden is passionately exploring ways to efficiently combine business with technologies. Jaden is currently work as an intern in ISS office, helping international student with their immigration status related questions. She joins the Information System Connexion (ISC) group to help more MSIS incoming students be ready for the job market prior to graduation. Jaden is confident about the enormously job opportunities lies in information system field, and she is ready to bring students into this field through ISC group. 

  • Rohan-SurveRohan Surve, VP of Operations

    Rohan is in his First year at the SCU MSIS program. He is presently working with the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics as Web Developer. He graduated from University of Mumbai in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology. He believes in working with ideas and in doing something creative. Prior to joining SCU he was working as Mobile Game Developer in Electronic Arts (EA India) and has work experience of around 2 years as Software Engineer. He is confident to bring a different perspective of knowledge for Information Systems Connexion (ISC) and help MSIS students in exploring the emerging Information Systems in Silicon Valley.
  • Neha-ThackerNeha Thacker, VP of Marketing and Event Planning

    Neha is a graduate student at Santa Clara University's MSIS program. Before joining this course in winter 2013, she completed her Bachelors in Computer Science from India. After achieving her bachelors, she worked with one of the top Pharmaceutical MNC as a software developer and later on joined an educational institute as a head of the IT department. Neha is currently working as an intern at Santa Clara Campus Ministry. She believes that her wide exposure to the diverse backgrounds would help her at best to give inputs for Information Systems Connexion (ISC). She is an avid reader, loves humor and traveling around.
  • Amra-IskanderAmra Iskander, VP of Alumni Relations

    Amra started her MSIS program this Spring and has been enjoying the rigor of the program tremendously. Amra's keen interest in technology started to have a deep-rooted impact as she assumed a Project Manager role at a startup based in Palo Alto, Dyyno where she led and managed all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Internet TV platforms. It was an exciting journey to be part of a young and growing Silicon Valley technology company. Amra wants to take my love of technology to the next level and is excited about joining the Information Connection Systems group to create, share and facilitate networking between the Santa Clara University Information Systems community with the industry at large. She received her Bachelor's of Business Management degree from Singapore Management University (SMU) in 2005.
  • Bryan-GaikwadBryan Gaikwad, VP of Web Technology

    Bryan is a graduate student pursuing his masters in Information Systems at Santa Clara University. He graduated from KIT’s College Of Engineering with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and is currently working as a Software Developer Intern at Iron Speed Inc. A natural engineer, he has an eye for detail that belies his age and experience. His strengths lie in his hard work, focused mindset and dedication to his studies backed by confidence to achieve excellence in life. He has a lot of zest to explore and learn new things with his objectives being clear and well defined. His resolute desire is to grasp new theories, conceptualize them and put them in a practical solution. Bryan is a highly motivated and result-oriented individual with ability to multi-task and deliver high quality results. He has demonstrated himself as an outstanding team player with well-developed leadership skills in various projects undertaken throughout his career.
  • SupaSupathorn (Supa) Sontornthanont, VP of Marketing and Social Media

    Supa joined the MSIS program in winter 2013. Supa received his MBA from Texas A&M International University. After working in the financial industry for a few years, he realized how important of information technology. Supa decided it was time for getting a proper education in information system as well as a change of cycling scenery. Supa is a very good business driver. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty and is able to take on any task even if it's something that he has never done before. He is very easy going and yet, able to make sure everyone in his team completes tasks on time. His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills enabled him to found his own Ping-Pong team: The invincible backhand smash – the first of its kind at Assumption University.
