kileyKiley Langtry, President

Kiley is in her final year in SCU’s MBA program with a concentration in Marketing. She also attended Santa Clara for her undergraduate degree and was one of the founding group members that created the Marketing Network in 2006-2007. She previously worked for Sciton, Inc., an aesthetic medical laser company, as the Associate Marketing Manager and focused on sales support, creating new marketing collateral and fostering relationships with key luminaries for the company. This is Kiley’s second year being a part of Women in Business, last year participating as VP of Marketing & Conference Planning. She joined Women in Business to get more involved in school, meet new friends, plan memorable events for her MBA peers, and have fun. In her free time, she enjoys going to festivals, cooking and trying new recipes, and having game nights in with friends.

tarneenTarneen Gandhi, VP of Finance/Treasurer

Tarneen is an MBA Candidate at SCU with concentration in Finance. She is currently studying part time and working full time at eBay. Her previous work experience includes GE Healthcare and Agilent Technologies. She graduated from SUNY – Stony Brook as an Electrical Engineer and Business Minor. In her spare time, she likes to cook, learn baking, play tennis, swim, enjoys exploring the Bay Area trails as well as exploring India. She joined Women in Business to have fun and make more friends outside the classroom setting. She thoroughly enjoys meeting other women who are passionate about their career and who also maintain a balanced and healthy family life!

 

Mimi_RE-1Mimi Mortezai, VP of Marketing and Events

Mimi Mortezai is in her second year of the MBA program and has a marketing concentration.  Her previous experience includes ESL/ELA Associate Editor for National Geographic School Publishing developing and managing content, layouts and more under stringent deadlines, Production Assistant for the film production company Marty Katz productions, and Project Manager for Bookette Software Company. 

Last year, was the VP of Web Technology for WiB. She is also serving as Inter-Network Council Vice Chair for 2012-2013.

Leslie is an MBA candidate at SCU with a concentration in Marketing. She currently works at the College Board as a Regional Associate. In her role, she is the sales and customer service support for secondary schools and institutions across twelve western states. She graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with a BA in International Relations and was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Co-ed Business Fraternity. As a part-time student, Leslie joined the Women in Business to get more involved in school, meet new people, and gain experience in marketing. In her free time, she enjoys trying new food (either baking or eating), dancing, shopping, and spending time with friends.

SamiraSamira Shihab, VP of Marketing & Social Media


Samira is entering her second year in the MBA program at Santa Clara University with a concentration in Finance. Before attending SCU, Samira worked as an energy contracts consultant in the LNG industry serving both the public and private sector. She graduated with a triple degree in Economics, International Relations and Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. As a current transplant to the Silicon Valley Bay Area, she enjoys living in the tech infused area and is increasing her involvement in the start up community.  Samira joined Women in Business to expand her network, plan exciting events and have fun with her MBA peers. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling to new locations in California and the rest of the world.

JenJen Visscher, VP of Operations


Jen joins the WiB team in her first year at the SCU Leavey School of Business as VP of Operations. Prior to relocating to the Bay area in August 2011, Jen managed international programs with the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, a not-for-profit organization that fulfills dreams for kids with severe physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.  At Sunshine, Jen was routinely relied on to deliver innovative solutions under strict budget constraints. Jen has continued her involvement with children’s charities since leaving Canada through her volunteer work with the local Bay Area Make-A-Wish chapter.  Jen believes everyone has an interesting story to tell. Bree Ponce HeadshotBree Ponce, VP of Strategic Partnerships and Planning

Bree Ponce is a non-profit professional in her first year of MBA studies. Bree has over five years experience excelling in project management, membership recruitment, developing outcomes-based programs, fund development and volunteer management working for a girl’s leadership organization whose mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. See, Girl Scouts of Northern California is more than just cookies and camping.

Bree is also an advocate for the Confidence Coalition, Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and the ToGetHerThere campaign. She currently serves on the Junior League of San Jose’s Board of Directors as the Vice President of Projects.
