�� Tenth SCU-MBA Women in Business Conference at eBay Breaks Previous Attendance Records Conference Organized by Santa Clara University Leavey Graduate School of Business��� Women in Business Network Helps Women Executives, Students ���Bridge Inspiration and Achievement��� April 14, 2012 ��� San Jose, CA ��� More than 150 women gathered at eBay in San Jose for the Tenth Annual Women in Business Conference, ���Bridging Inspiration & Achievement,��� organized by the Women in Business Network of the Leavey Graduate School of Business at Santa Clara University. Sponsored by eWIT (eBay���s Women in Technology group) and the Winkler Group, this year���s event surpassed last year���s attendance by 27%. Keynote speaker Shellye Archambeau, CEO of MetricStream opened the day-long event with ���Leveraging the Female Advantage to Succeed in the Global Economy��� filled with actionable advice for today���s and tomorrow���s women executives about how to leverage their strengths as a woman leader. Archambeau���s presentation was followed by eight topic sessions including ���Forging a Path to Success��� with Tech CU CEO Barbara Kamm, ���Achieve Through Curiosity��� with HP Networking VP Bethany Mayer, and ���Consensus Building, Negotiation & Communication��� with NxGen CEO Liz Fetter, Oracle Director Charu Roy and c3PR Principal and founder Mar Junge. The closing keynote was delivered by VP and Deputy General Counsel of eBay���s Technology & Patent Law Emily Ward, who explored key leadership qualities and provided insight on how to overcoming obstacles that can hold women back from achieving greatness.
