Bora Kara (MBA 2011) Financial Analyst, Gap, Inc/Old Navy

Bora Kara cites faculty expertise as a core asset of Santa Clara's graduate business program. "They were professionals who've been in the field, and because of their own experiences, they were able to convey how things work 'in the real world.' Kara brings a background in retail and finance to his role at Gap, Inc. having launched his own online retail store and managed financials for a global PR firm.

Peter Oppenheimer (MBA 1987) Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Apple

In his role as CFO at Apple, Peter Oppenheimer oversees controller, treasury, investor relations, tax, information systems, internal audit, and facilities functions. Prior to joining Apple (in 1996), he was part of Automatic Data Processing (ADP), in the Claims Services Division as CFO; he was previously part of the information technology consulting practice of Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Steve Sordello (BSC 1992, MBA 2001) Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice Prsident, LinkedIn

Steve Sordello has focused his finance career in high tech firms such as Adobe Systems, Ask Jeeves, and TiVo, where he was part of the management team delivering the company's first-ever profitable quarter. He joined LinkedIn in 2007 and oversaw the company's successful IPO in 2012.
