Recently retired as Vice President of Planning and IT and Chief Information Officer of ATMEL Corporation, Mikes Sisois had worldwide responsibility for information services, corporate planning activities, design automation, and manufacturing automation services. Dr. Sisois joined ATMEL in 1985 as director of Systems and Planning before becoming vice president of Planning and Information Systems in 1990 and ultimately, Vice President of Planning and IT and Chief Information Officer in November of 1999.

Dr. Sisois has over 32 years of IT management experience in a variety of environments. Before coming to ATMEL, he was Vice President of R&D at Qronos Technology, a software company specializing in the development of ERP systems for the high tech industry (1983-1985). Prior to that, he was director of IT for Seeq Technology, Inc. a semiconductor manufacturing firm (1982-1983).

Previously, Dr. Sisois served as the Director of Information Systems at Santa Clara University and as a member of its Business School faculty from 1972 to 1982. Dr. Sisois holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from San Jose State University, receiving his MBA from Santa Clara University in 1972. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from SCU in 1991.
