About USIS Connexion, founded in 2005, became an official Santa Clara University student network in spring of 2006. Created to bridge the gap between the Business entrepreneurs and the Technical community in the University, IS Connexion is a unique Student Network. Our Mission: "To promote Information Systems knowledge, the use of information technology, to solve complex business problems and provide solutions to improve organizational performance and individual quality of work life within SCU and outside".By facilitating interaction with people from other fields, IS Connexion provides students a unique opportunity to expand their Management skills with a mix of technical knowledge, or vice versa. In addition, IS Connnexion intends to support graduates of the MSIS and MBA programs by providing tools and resources to enhance their business and technical skillsets, thus helping them grow both professionally and personally. IS Connexion strives to foster community and challenge our members to serve the community at large by planning, hosting, and participating in events both on the SCU Campus and beyond. In this age of participation, the benefits students receive from IS Connexion multiply manifold with their active participation. |
