  • President - Neeraj Mathur

    Neeraj has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India and a degree in Indian Classical Music (Instrumental) For the last 10 years, he has been working in IT field in different capacities. As a Technical Program Manager he currently manages a global team that develops applications and tools for the Sales force in a Fortune 500 company.

    Neeraj has a keen sense of organization and is the Founder of IS Connexion at SCU. His interests include Information Systems, Program/Project Management, and Finance.


  • Whenever available, his free time is invested into reading, playing saxophone, or watching hockey. He is a staunch supporter of local team San Jose Sharks.

    Vice President (Operations, Membership) - Jeremy Hamilton
    BS Engineering Physics - Fort Lewis College in Durango CO

    Jeremy works in support of thin film technology research, including high vacuum system maintenance (evaporation and sputtering Chambers), testing systems design and assembly, computer interface and automation programming, mechanical and electrical engineering applications. He is also responsible for design, assemble, install, upgrade, maintain and repair lab equipment, training for new users, and providing technical assistance to peers.

    Jeremy interests and hobbies includes weight training, jogging, softball, basketball, golf, sporting events, hunting, fishing, and camping. He is also the VP of the national IBM Native American Network, Pres. of the Silicon Valley Native American Network, VP of the CA professional Chapter of American Indian Science and Engineering Society.

    Jeremy has aspirations to move into the services market of IBM. The MSIS program will assist in making the jump from hardware to a software oriented field. Jeremy's broad background will enable him to related to a large number of companies from various industries, and solve multidisciplinary problems. He also hold true to his Native American heritage and hope to one day be able to give back to my home community.


  • Vice President (Events & Networking) - Corrina Burnley
    B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society - Pomona College, Claremont, CA.

    Corrina currently divides her professional life between work as Director of Contracts Administration and Database Developer at Dancing Cat Productions, a small, music production company in Santa Cruz, and Owner/Database Developer for Burnley Data Solutions. Her responsibilities at Dancing Cat range from contract analysis, licensing supervision, and royalty analysis to database development.

    Corrina is driven by the use of information systems, particularly databases, to help make work simpler for organizations and people so they can more easily realize their goals.

    Corrina is active in the community in Santa Cruz, as well as at Santa Clara University. Although, she has had to reduce her volunteer efforts recently to balance school and work, she remains on the advisory boards of Friends of the Del Mar (an all-volunteer non-profit to restore a local landmark theater, www. friendsofthedelmar.com) and Mariposa's Arts (a non-profit that brings art and music programs to schools to help students develop leadership and life skills, www.mariposasart.org).

    In her free time, Corrina enjoys gardening and tries to stay active swimming, running, and biking.





    • Vice President (Marketing - Relationships) - Ross Dykes
      B.S. in Electrical Engineering - Santa Clara University

      Ross has worked in the Semiconductor Design, Storage Systems, and educational IT sector for over 8 years. Currently, he is the Manager of the Student Technology Services group in the Santa Clara University Information Technology department. Ross is responsible for supporting the technology needs of approximately 2,300 on-campus students and affiliates, and manages the student help desk and call center. He enjoys working with customers, and identifying and supporting their information systems needs.

      Hobbies include hiking, camping and fishing. Ross also works on a number of engineering projects in his spare time, including a flight motion simulator and a number of control systems projects. He also plays the clarinet and has been known to cook from time to time, as long as it's on a grill!




    • Vice President (Technology - Web) - Sarah Hughes
      Management Information Systems, Web Development - San Jose State University

      Sarah has worked primarily in the high tech sectors at such companies as Sun Microsystems and Packeteer. Currently, she works as part of the team that maintains the corporate website for Packeteer Inc, as well as working in the User Interface Design Group that creates exciting UIs for the PacketShaper and PolicyCenter software suites.

      Hobbies include watching movies, photography, salsa dancing, and playing poker. Sarah also works on a number of personal web design projects including a personal portfolio site and the Cisco Metros Hockey Team site. She took two years of Russian as an undergrad, and continues to study the culture and language.

    • Vice President (Technology - Infrastructure) - Mauricio Palomar
      B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies - University of California, Santa Barbara

      Mauricio is currently working at NetLine Corporation, a lead generation and e-marketing company located in Los Gatos. In his Internet Production role, he authors web pages, html templates, and forms. In addition he does a bit of perl programming. His professional interest is in the internet, Linux, and improving existing information processes.

      In his free time, Mauricio goes out to the movies with his wife and plays with his Jack Russell Terrier. He also loves photography as well as bicycling. If he gets extra free time, he’ll head over the hills and go surfing.

    • Vice President (Marketing - Collateral) - Dan Bruckner
      B.S. in Mathematics

      Prior to SCU, Dan worked at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company for over six years as an actuary in the areas of reserving, pricing and catastrophe management. Now he is currently a full time student at SCU getting both his MSIS and an MBS with concentrations in Information Systems and Managing Technology and Innovation. Dan hopes to combine his analytical background with these degrees to move into the area of systems analysis.

      Interests and hobbies include skydiving, snowboarding, skiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, the Raiders, traveling, running, weight lifting, Steven King novels, camping, hiking, bowling, darts, dominoes, animals and pretty much anything outdoors. Sometime in the not too distant future, Dan plans to move to Spain for at least a couple years.
