I went to Santa Clara for undergrad and got my Master's in Educational Counseling at San Jose State.

When did you join the Business School?

Riding my cruiser bike on the Los Gatos Creek trail, decorating/staging homes, planning my next trip, and hanging out with my five year old daughter, Sadie.

What is your favorite book or author?
My favorite author is Julia Alvarez, from the Dominican Republic. As an undergraduate at SCU, I studied historical Sociology and ready several of her books, my favorite being In the Time of the Butterflies

What is your favorite place to eat?
Someone's house! I love going to dinner at friends'/family houses and trying new cuisine. I love ethnic food. My favorite restaurants are always changing, but currently my favorites are: The Grove in San Francisco for breakfast, Tower Cafe in Sacramento for brunch, Paris Baguette for pastries (best pastries outside of Europe!) and Cafe Brazil in Santa Cruz--for the Acai bowl.

Where is your ideal vacation?
I love international travel and so far have been to Mexico City, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Germany, Canada, England, Turkey, Greece, France and Jamaica. Next on my list are Thailand and Africa.
