  • Transition from Engineering to Business Explored

    Tuesday, May. 4, 2010 4:34 PM

A technical background in high tech or life sciences shouldn't be a barrier to a successful business career, says the staff of the Leavey School of Business Graduate Business Career Management Office, and they aim to prove it on Saturday, May 15.

"Engineering to Business Transitions" will outline typical MBA career paths. Some of the exercises at the workshop will demonstrate how engineers and other technical workers can identify and highlight transferrable skills to shift from technical and business functions.

In addition, a panel of Leavey alumni who have successfully made the transition will share their experiences and tips on making the move from the technical side to the business side of organizations.

To RSVP to this event (open to Santa Clara MBA students and alumni only), visit the Career Management events website >>
