• Career Crossroads Conference Filling Quickly

  Business alumni and students are flocking to register for "Career Crossroads : Pathways to Develop Your Career" on Saturday, February 6, said Victoria Wilson, director of the Graduate Business Career Management office.

  "Our students and alumni are taking charge of their careers," said Wilson, whose staff has planned a day-long series of workshops covering green technology opportunities, consulting, real estate and other industry and functional panels.

  In addition, two sessions will look at Personal Branding and Putting Together a Linkedin Profile, helpful for both the new graduate and seasoned alumnus.

• MBA Applications Due January 20

  SANTA CLARA, CA  -- December 19, 2008 -- Applications for Spring Quarter 2009 in the MBA program at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business are due January 20, said school officials on Friday.

  Admission to the Spring Quarter in Leavey Business School top-ranked MBA program (#13 nationally) provides an advantage to students who want to begin their graduate studies now, rather than waiting for a traditional September start.

  Spring Quarter applicants should complete their applications by January 20 or earlier, said admissions staff.
