  • MBA Program Ranked #37 of 323

    Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2015 11:17 AM

SCU's MBA program was ranked #37 in "The Best Grad Schools Guide 2016" published by U.S. News & World Report last week, improving from #46 last year, and tying with Villanova, Georgia, SMU, UC Irvine, Clemson, and Boston College.

"There are several reasons for the improvement," said Dean Drew Starbird, "including an increase in the average GPA, average GMAT score, and increased work experience of our latest class of MBA students."

U.S. News editors surveyed deans and MBA program directors of 323 part-time MBA programs in the nation and used their assessment along with schools' entrance exam scores, student work experience, and percentage of class that was enrolled part-time to create the Guide rankings.

Among Jesuit business schools, Santa Clara tied with Boston College for the #2 spot, and is ranked #5 among California MBA programs.
