Finance faculty George Chacko and Sanjiv Das have been recognized for their paper, “An Index-Based Measure of Liquidity,” with a new award from Standard & Poor Indices.

The well-known financial services company introduced its SPIVA awards program in September to honor excellence in research on the topic of index-related applications.

The work by Chacko, Das, and co-author Rong Fan, will receive second-place honors for scholarship that “explore[s] innovative techniques that enhance the use of indices in the financial markets.”
