Meir Statman, the Glenn Klimek Professor of Finance, was quoted in a MarketWatch column about investors selling stock that have performed marginally after just six months. "[I]nvestors get in backward, bullish or bearish," Statman told reporter Chuck Jaffe. "When investors are bullish about an investment it is more likely to underperform than outperform, and visa versa."
