Purpose:
The Operations and Management Information Systems Department of the Leavey School of Business is seeking a qualified candidate for Fall 2009 tenure-track appointments in Management Information Systems.

The department offers a graduate degree in IS (MSIS) and undergraduate major and minor degrees in MIS. The individuals we are looking for should have interest in research and teaching in areas of Information Systems. In keeping with the University's teacher-scholar model, the department seeks faculty who are highly committed to teaching and actively engaged in research in their fields of specialization.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Management Information Systems or a related field, record of high quality scholarship and superior teaching are required.

Rank and Salary:
These are tenure-track Assistant Professor positions (other ranks will be considered). Salaries are competitive.

Starting Date: Fall 2009

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:

A. Teach and develop MSIS, MBA, and undergraduate courses such as courses in Management Information Systems, Large Enterprise Systems (ERP,CRM), and Information Systems for Financial and Managerial Reports

B. Develop and sustain a quality research agenda in one's chosen professional field(s)
