A recent conference on "Managing Retailing in the Information Age" focuses on how information and technology impact the organizational structure and decision making of retail firms. More than 70 senior executives from the U.S., Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific took part.
Led by faculty members and industry leaders are tailored to particular segments of retailing focusing on areas of special interest to managers in store operations, merchandising, and information systems. Working with the trade organizations and other industry groups, the institute is developing other programs aimed directly at current interests of retail executives.
