Retail Studies Minor

The Retail Studies minor is the heart of the Retail Management Institute. Students who complete the Retail Studies Program receive a retail studies minor, which is open to all undergraduates no matter their major.

The minor's curriculum provides a well-rounded education as well as intensely practical, career-oriented classes. Students fulfill the University's rigorous liberal arts requirements as well as the requirements of their major. They also take courses in communication, microeconomics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, accounting, organization development, marketing, and retail management.

             RMI Graduation Ceremony

A part of being in the retail studies minor also includes a chance to apply for financial and/or travel scholarships. Through out the history of the program, there have been many generous donors to support the retail studies program students.
