Safra Catz is President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Oracle Corporation, reporting to Larry Ellison, Oracle's CEO. Ms. Catz has been a member of Oracle’s Board of Directors since October 2001, serves on Oracle’s Executive Management Committee, and is responsible for global operations.
Ms. Catz served the company as Executive Vice President between November 1999 and January 2004 and as Senior Vice President between April 1999 and October 1999.
Prior to joining Oracle, Ms. Catz was at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, a global investment bank that has since merged with Credit Suisse First Boston, where she was a Managing Director from February 1997 to March 1999, and a Senior Vice President from January 1994 until February 1997. Ms. Catz held various investment banking positions from 1986 until January 1994.

Ed Zander

Edward J. Zander is chairman of the board of Motorola, Inc. Since beginning at Motorola in January 2004, he has brought Motorola not only a wealth of experience, but a keen understanding of the emerging challenges and opportunities in the communications space. He has successfully reorganized the company, overseen the introduction of several exciting new products and sharpened Motorola's focus on innovation and operational efficiency. Zander entered his position with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry.
Prior to joining Motorola, Zander was a managing director of Silver Lake Partners, a leading private equity fund focused on investments in technology industries. Before that, he served as president and chief operating officer of Sun Microsystems until June 2002. During his tenure, Zander grew Sun to $18 billion in revenues, established it as the number-one company in the server market and built it into the pre-eminent supplier of network infrastructure. Earlier, Zander served as president of Sun's computer and software divisions. Prior to joining Sun in 1987, he held senior management positions at Apollo Computer and Data General.
An active member of the civic and business communities, Zander serves on the board of directors of several professional, educational and non-profit organizations. Local business organizations include The Economics Club, The Executive Club, the Civic Committee of The Commercial Club, Art Institute of Chicago and After School Matters, Chicago. In addition, he serves as chairman of the Technology CEO Council, on the Board of Trustees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of the School of Management at Boston University and as a director of Netezza Corporation.
Zander received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in business administration and an honorary Ph.D. from Boston University.

Patrick Kerin

Pat Kerin was named general manager of Global Technology Services - Americas, IBM Global Services, in January of 2007. He is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of IBM’s IT services business in Canada, the United States and Latin America. The unit he leads provides clients with the industry’s broadest array of information technology services to enable their businesses to innovate and grow profitably.
Prior to this role, Mr. Kerin was vice president, finance & planning, in the same organization. His responsibilities included finance and planning, pricing, business controls and cost optimization activities for GTS in North and South America.
In 2003, Mr. Kerin joined the Enterprise On Demand Transformation team as vice president of finance & operations. Before that, he was vice president of finance for Americas where his responsibilities included all aspects of financial planning and analysis as well as business controls at the country, business unit and geography level.
In 1998, Mr. Kerin was named vice president, finance & planning for Global Industries, which included IBM’s worldwide sales organization and Solutions Business Unit which was responsible for developing and selling unique industry solutions.
In 1996, he was named executive vice president of Advantis, a joint venture of IBM and Sears responsible for IBM’s network services business, and was elected to their board of directors. In addition to his financial responsibilities at Advantis, Mr. Kerin managed call center operations, marketing and several of IBM’s largest outsourcing contracts. He had joined Advantis in 1993 as vice president of finance, and before that held various executive positions in IBM where he was responsible for pricing IBM products in the U.S.
Mr. Kerin joined IBM in 1983 in Santa Clara, California, as part of the company’s acquisition of Rolm, where he held several executive positions before transferring in 1988 to IBM’s Marketing and Sales Division as director of financial planning.
Mr. Kerin holds a bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State University and a MBA from Santa Clara University.
