LSB Global Experience

 A global study component is strongly recommended for all business students, and Santa Clara University offers several programs for expanding understanding of the world's economic, political, and social structures as experienced by people living within them.

Global Experience within the School of Business

Led by Leavey School of Business faculty, courses include five classes during Spring Quarter, followed by two weeks in-country after the close of the academic year. The courses provide integration of business concepts with a deeper understanding of international political, economic, and social viewpoints.

Applications for all programs are due February 8 — pick up and return applications in the Undergraduate Business Programs office (Lucas Hall 115) or complete the application online.

We will be taking a group of dedicated students to:

  • Understanding the Euro Zone   June 16-30
    Explore the culture, history, and business environment of the EU, with a close look at the Eurozone crisis. For more information »


  • Doing Business in Chinea  June 16 -29
    An understanding and experience in China, the world's emerging economic powerhouse, will be vital for students hoping to accelerated their career paths. For more information »


  • Sustainable Business : The Spanish Model   June 16 - June 29
    Multiple sectors in Spain focus on sustainable business and resourcing from alternative energies, and this two-week travel experience will explore these business approaches. Cultural and historic site visits will expand students' perspectives on Spanish society. For more information »
