Leavey Scholars ProgramThe Leavey Scholars Program offers special opportunities for business students who have established a record of excellence in their Santa Clara studies. Special “scholars” sections of the following classes are offered to students enrolled in the program: FNCE 121S – Financial Management Also offered for Leavey Scholars are honors sections of two lower-division courses: ECON 3H - International Economics, Development, and Growth Students enrolled in the Leavey Scholars Program enjoy the following benefits:
Enrollment in the Leavey Scholars Program is by invitation only. Those invited are business sophomores who have maintained a cumulative SCU GPA in the top 10-15% of their class through the end of the fall quarter of their sophomore year (this usually equates to a minimum GPA of 3.7 or better). To complete the Leavey Scholars Program, participants complete at least three upper-division scholars sections, or 2 upper-division scholars sections and one of the two offered lower-division honors courses, followed by the scholars section of the capstone.
