Our “Major Guides” subscription is a useful tool when advising students to share the variety of career opportunities available if they are exploring how to directly apply their major to their work.
Careers for the Common Good (ELSJ 23)
Offered in the spring quarter for sophomores and juniors, this 2-unit Career Center class exposes students to social realities and injustices both locally and internationally, with the intent of understanding the complex relations between privileged and marginalized groups. Through Career Center resources, self-assessments, course speakers, Community-based Learning placements, and reflection, students will be able to articulate their interests and talents and the career applications to particular needs in the world.
